Impromptu meetup with Felly at Cineleisure; caught Pacific Rim. Not a really big fan of science fiction movies but it was pretty good!

And then we had supper at McDonald's. I tried the Rendang burger and once again, I'm not a fan of malay food so it wasn't to my liking. Had a hearty chat with this girl until 3am

Was telling Felly how my friend used to make fun of me for shaking salt off my fries... My friend.

15 July, Monday
Went to school for some Mathematics and Economics workshop and chatted with Charles and Kaiyi for a while. This Charles really gets on my nerves. The day before, he was like trying to self-invite himself to going to the workshop with me. So I saved a seat for him. When he arrived, he actually sat in between two strangers and I'm like whaaaat, waste my time.

Broke fast an hour later T-T jogged at 12am and spent 4 hours trying to enroll for classes online sigh

16 July, Tuesday
Jogged before night shift. Felly came to accompany me. To be honest, I wanted to be alone. I mean isn't that the purpose of taking up night shifts; to be alone. So it wasn't a productive night for me. I mean I'm thankful that she bothered to cab there just to look for me but I really didn't feel the need to entertain anyone for the entire week.

17 July, Wednesday
4am at Starbucks:

Went to Paragon in the afternoon to have my wisdom teeth stitches removed. It cost $48. Um like give me a pair of scissors, I'd gladly do it myself.

Worked with Gen at the slab and stayed up with her until her last bus arrived. The only time I stayed that long at that bus stop was when.... T-T

So yeah anyway, yada yada felt helpless because my dear girl was nearly in tears and all I could do was avoid her gaze to mitigate the chances of her breaking down yada yada cliche me

18 July, Thursday
Went to Four Seasons for an interview with both the General and Hotel Manager. Met this junior who was applying for her internship there as well.

Me: They're really nice, the interviews are usually informal
...
Me: So how was it
Her: He asked me for the benefits of spa products

HAHAHA I actually calmed her down and the manager just had to ask her a tough question

Night shift and um yeah, Felly came to look for me again. I didn't even get to finish up my MasterChef episode (tried to be cool about it, but totally raging inside)

Overcharged a customer 3 bucks, bought a bagel from Starbucks with that amount of money. Hold on for karma

5 HOURS OF SLEEP AND BACK TO THE AIRPORT FOR MY NEXT SHIFT (cue "siao eh!")

Worked at the slab

Day 1: Talked about sex and dicks (from the sizes to how to measure them) Meh used to such explicit topics, with Jo Lee and hb
Day 2: HAD THE MOST BORING TIME AT WORK HAHAHAHA. Byron and Jo Chu were just stoning at the slab and we don't really have much in common ok awkward...

Thank goodness I got off work. Felly and Fatin had arrived by then. Went to 328 Katong Laksa for some dinnur!!!

Me: Eh got 328 Katong Laksa la! It's at the left!
Felly: No la right side one is the same!
Me: But Gordon Ramsay went to this one!!! I want to go to this one!!

Ok princess gets what she wants hahahaha I'll shut up. It was my first time trying it and it's pretty good!!!  Don't get why I've never been there before. There's no pork what. Unless they use lard.

Felly: Do you know that this is not halal
Me (to Fatin): Is she trying to making us feel guilty?
Fatin (to me): I think so. Let's just ignore her

HAHAHA okay really don't like it when people try to aggravate my guilty conscience. I know you're concerned about me but can you let me enjoy my food in peace please. Unless there's a clear sign e.g. bacon on my salad then tell me please thankz oh and I spilled lime juice on myself because having been trained to carry a tray, I thought that I could handle three drinks on a tray. Man was I wrong

Went back to I12 Katong to waste time at Honeymoon Dessert where we had Felly's recommended Double-boiled Milk. Fatin and I had a hard time consuming it; it was that bad. Von finally arrived and we had our free ice-cream and waffles!!!

I hate having my friends over at the slab! Whenever something goes wrong/busy, I have to leave my friends to help my colleagues. Ugh I don't mind helping but I think it's rude to leave halfway through a conversation (many times in fact). Fun impromptu meetup with my cherry blossoms though ^-^

22 July, Monday
Orientation camp at 9am is such a turn off. Made a few friends, left at 3pm, met up with Kaiyi for awhile in school, signed up for a few co-curricular activities, home to sleep. Was supposed to jog but I've been sick thanks to my hectic schedule

I was doing closing and the shop suddenly flooded with customers :( I don't want to handle 3k worth of sales anymore la, took so long just to tally everything. But working with Stephy is so fun HAHAHA she is damn funny. She was all philosophical like, "If you think you can, you can." when I doubted her capability to pass a stage on Candy Crush.

Napped, jogged though I was sick, but not satisfied because it was 2km lesser than my usual.

Went out to meet my girls at Mink. (hahahahha note to self: refer to drafts) I'm pretty low profile when it comes to clubbing because I don't like how people judge clubbers. Like I don't drink, I don't intentionally grind or make out with strangers and when they try do so, I'd move away. It's somewhat a therapy for me in terms of dealing with all the crap like losing people, having to face couples 24/7. LIKE THESE THINGS HAVE BEEN TAKING A TOLL ON ME. But no matter how hard I try to explain, everyone's judgement would be: a (female) clubber will always be a slut.

So I give up. I'm not able to proof my point.

I made a reservation at Pizzeria Mozza at 2:30pm and I was late so I was hoping Thai girl would be early but she wasn't! So I think they actually gave away our table to someone else, tsk how rude!

I took half an hour to walk to CDC Ubi and I waited for an hour for my turn. Turns out that I queued at the wrong counter and better yet, the system was down.

I actually went straight to school after my night shift! Was an hour late for my enrollment talk;

Woke up to find that Danial didn't wake me up for Gordon Ramsays' appearance at 328 Katong Laksa. So I rushed down and reached at 12:30pm HAHAHA I was freaking lucky because Ramsay reached at 1pm and I still managed to get his autograph first nyehehe suckas

When I was shoving my phone to him, he was like, "Another phone?! We're ruining all these phones!" And I befriended a girl who said that we should all shout his name to get his attention AND IT WORKED. I got a picture with the man himself HAHAHAHAHAH SHUT UP

So I stood on a potted plant and got mud on my jeans and shoes. The things I do for Gordon Ramsay:

Burger King breakfast with Fatin and lunch with her at the secret spot. We both really really really can't stand overly negative people who flood our timelines with mindless tweets such as, "I can't believe I trusted you.", "I will never know until I ask." every second of the day!!! (UH THEN I SUGGEST YOU GET YOUR MOFO CLOSURE ON)

Hung out with Fatin and Von after work and we talked about best friends. Okay mostly Von's. I realised I've never had a best friend from work before and I never knew it'd be possible!

Fatin: Von, why do you keep polaroids of yourself with you?!
Von: In case someone sees that I'm not bad looking and decides to return them to me

Went to Paragon to have my wisdom teeth removed. I thought both teeth were only on one side but they turned out to be on each side! Oh well, both bottom teeth had to be removed surgically. It was honestly the scariest experience of my life. I was trembling when I heard the drilling and cracking

Met Limin at Suntec City and I was struggling to eat my porridge because apparently Teochew porridge means rice with soup added wah lame. I can't even chew and I had to swallow the rice.

So I actually depend on distractions a lot. So much that I didn't realise that the upcoming week would be filled with work, well technically 6 out of 7 days.
