A summary of the day:

It doesn't matter if you're losing people around you. It's those who make the effort to reach up to you that matter. And it's quite often the ones you least expect. Thank you Gen.

(I had no one else to turn to because the fact that I'm in this state of disarray seems to involve anyone else I could ever think of. So I let someone into my trust circle today. Which is a pretty big achievement for me, seeing my records of trust issues with people.)

On a lighter note, I sort of self-experimented. I tend to think irrationally before and during my occurrence of my period. But the fact that I still have these thoughts in my head proves that these feelings aren't just a facade; they're genuine

1 April, Monday
Finally a proper date with the boy since my return from Maldives. A few minutes before meeting each other, I lied to him saying that I would be late, as an April Fools joke hahahahahahaha I'm so childish

Lunch at EWF @ Orchard Central, then watched G.I Joe @ Plaza Singapura, pool @ Cathay. I won!!!!!!! Okay because he fouled a couple of times. Astons. Ended off the day with my treat at Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie.

Iced mocha - rose, cookies & cream, vanilla macarons
Hazelnut Praline (bloody good) - Rose and lavender tea

Had to respect that he doesn't like to take pictures. Too bad, he looked cute that day

2 April, Tuesday
Left in the morning to Narita airport, Tokyo. MY FAVOURITE CITY IN ASIA!!!

18 hours flight: Les Miserables, Bacholorette, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Pitch Perfect

Reached Los Angeles, checked in, and went straight to Disneyland Park for... 2 rides. Sucks to be in America during the Easter holiday. Waited for 90 minutes for the second ride.

10 minutes walk to Disneyland

Best crowd eva

10pm queue

3 April, Wednesday
Conquered the rest of the rides at Disneyland Park for the first half of the day and headed on to Disney California Adventure Park for the second half of the day. The rides are more thrilling there!

Biggest horses I've ever seen

My favourite theme: Alice in Wonderland

Overflowing gravy, the cause of obesity in America

DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE PARK HERE WE COME!!!!!

The geeks doing the Spock sign aren't my friends

The World of Colour was amazing. Even more than the disney parade. Being there never fails to make me reminisce on my youthful days

I won!!! ^^

Not sure if guy in front was KevJumba

4 April, Thursday
Went to the factory outlet store. What happens when a girl wasn't allowed to shop freely for 6 months, she spent $200 at the first store.

Finished off the rest of the rides at Disney California Adventure Park. It's really tiring to go to the theme parks 3 days in a row, with such long waiting time and the crowd, oh don't get me started on the crowd.

2nd time queuing for California Screamin'

I wanted this :(

5 April, Friday
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD BABY YEAH!!!

qt

Screamed like shit and it was our first

An episode of Revenge in progress

6 April, Saturday
3 hours road trip to Las Vegas!

Walked around but didn't get anything because we were going to the factory outlet the following day. (turns out that the outlet wasn't up to expectations)

Man-made rain

Buffet at The Mirage for dinner! Really good food and great spread! I was about to get my salad when this friendly stranger started talking to me. PEOPLE THERE ARE SO NICE!!! They make you feel so welcome and it gives me the warm and fuzzy feeling!!! ^-^

Me: Caesar salad without bacon please
Her: I'm getting that too! Without bacon as well!

Staff: Croutons?
Me: Yes please, a little more
Her: Yes!!! I'm getting more croutons too! Great minds think alike!

She was so sweet!!!

Loots from Urban Outfitters!

Our last stop was Caesars Palace. The only place with an Abercrombie and Fitch outlet. So we were waiting for Darth Vader when these 2 Pakistani guys who studied in America, decided to talk to me. They were nice and at least I was entertained and one can never get enough of someone with an American accent. It beats listening to someone with improper usage of English (cue fake coughing)

FRIENDS shot here before!!!

7 April, Sunday
So we headed to the outlet store. It was so depressing :( the shops were so limited.

So we headed back to Caesar's Palace where I spent most of the money I had left. BECAUSE NO ONE TOLD ME THERE WAS GOING TO BE MORE SHOPPING AT SAN FRANCISCO!!!

Dinner at The Cheesecake Factory! (note: pictures don't do justice at all)

Cakes on the bottom rack could feed like 6 people per slice

Chocolate one was so good

Ayuz's tomato & chicken

Salmon spring rolls, damn good

Parent's seafood pasta, this was the best

My red meat pasta was not bad either!

We all settled for the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake

So upset when I saw these (not fair!) whines:

8 April, Monday
Grand Canyon oh yeah!!! Eh I acted all smart thinking that it was some sort of a desert so I wore a sleeveless top.

Damn was I wrong. It was 5 degrees Celsius and there was a hail storm. IT WAS SO FUN! I was running and shouting, "THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS!!!!" The hail was rather pain though, like thousands of sharpened pencils poking your skin.

After taking some tourist shots, we headed to the ranch for lunch.

Dad was so cute, being so focused on the magic trick
+ Victoria Secret shopping bag

MY MEH THAT KEPT FOLLOWING ME!!! SO CUTE!!!

I was exhausted when we got back so I stayed in the hotel while my cousin and parents went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner again.

9 April, Tuesday
Off all things, my parents bought Red Velvet Cake from The Cheesecake Factory. Need I say more.

TO THE AIRPORT! FaceTimed with Danial and Limin while waiting.

Alienated Limin, figuratively

Checked in to Marriot, had lunch at one of the street side stalls at Fisherman's Wharf.

Fried calamari

Juicy crabs

Then to Cold Stone Creamery for some ice-cream! Walked walked walked. I went to the gym. Had to compromise with Darth Vader because it was 9:30pm (ikr, a hobo was totally going to rape me that early in the night). So he sat in the gym for an hour while I did my own things

Ugh zq said something that kept me thinking. For a few days. I slept at 3am and there were a few tears sigh I'm so weak.

10 April, Wednesday
Shopping in town.

Lunch, walked more

Sushi for dinner

Dad asked why I kept smiling to my phone. So sweet leh. After my breakdown last night and my worried mind, it was nice to read something like this ~^-^~

11 April, Thursday
Had the best breakfast ever.

THIS WAS MIINE, ALL MINE
AND I LOVED EVERY ATOM OF IT

Alcatraz

Stupid strikingly attractive guy totally got in the way
of the scenic view that I was trying to capture

Walked around and had a cupcake break

Peanut butter | Red Velvet | Hazelnut

Dinner at Denny's and we walked along the famous crooked street that I wasn't aware off.

I was the only one who made it all the way up

iJelly

Then Darth Vader followed me to Cold Stone Creamery to get my brownies with ice-cream!

12 April, Friday
So Gladys told me to try iHop. And I did. But I took wholegrain pancakes -______- so it wasn't as nice as what I imagined my fluffy pancakes to be fluff fluff

Took the cable car to town, Can't believe they call it a cable car.

13 April, Saturday

Liminster's

The amount of junk in my bag

14 April, Sunday
Religious class, Becks birthday party with Fel

15 April, Monday
Spent my day fasting, unpacking and FaceTiming with CT and KY who were in Malaysia. Productive day 1.

16 April, Tuesday
Threading (I got tricked into spending $120).

Went to school then to SIM. Saw zq who was heading to work. Jogged. Purchased tickets for Phantom of the Opera. Productive day 2.

17 April, Wednesday
Got Limin and I tickets to The xx, sent transcript to remaining universities, went down to Maxwell Road to do the same, jogged. Productive day 3.

Today
Spent around $400 within 3 days. Tried to bake but failed and mom laughed and her frankness must effing maintain. She said, "If I did it, it would be a success." Then this pussy threw the batter that she spent one and a half hours on, and cried in her room. I hate failure. What's worse, a mom that made me feel a whole lot better.

Went for a job interview. Not so productive day. Not at all.

Next up on my dream holiday: New York, Spain, Italy, Venice, Rome
