driving then worked at abc. i already had the intention of quitting. but anyway this happened: my manager pulled me out to talk to me

me: okayyy it's my driving, council stuff, studies, meetings
h: if you can't commit, why did you work in the first place
me: (lol i actually wanted to be in the kitchen side but there wasn't any availability so they put me as a frontline staff and after going through the interview, i felt bad for rejecting the offer) because jo and i wanted to work tgt
h: you guys don't even have same shifts. i'm not asking for much.. i just need you to commit one weekend and one weekday

h: how would you feel if you had a part-timer who can only work once a week

so i decided to tell him after my shift ended. conclusion: i quit

14 November, Thursday
driving then met up with kitty and shu. so first stop was Strangers Reunion. best eggs benedict i've had by far. the truffle fries were one of the worst. they actually had a dollop of mayonnaise on the side with a light splash of oil in it. cheap or cheap

and then we went to Audacious Cakery. i don't know what happened but they googled the directions and it said something like block xxx, #06-01 and we were quite skeptical because why would the shop be on the sixth floor of a hdb flat. SO WE STILL TRIED OUR LUCK and we were wrong. so i did the googling instead and it was #01-06!!

so i decided to take picture of the displays because they were too pretty. the staff served the first two cakes and it seemed to take pretty long for the other one to come so i just asked the girls, "eh where's the chocolate cake?"

then kitty counted to 3 and the birthday song started and i turned around to see the guy inelegantly walking out of the doorway, trying his hardest to keep the candle lit. but the flame died so i didn't get to blow my candle awwwww

i was so sick of seeing the contestants of Masterchef constantly cooking short ribs and it always looks so good omg so i had to order it. AND IT WAS SO GOOD OHMYGOD IT JUST MELTED IN MY MOUTH. i really really liked the wagyu too! maybe even better than the short-ribs! we had waffles and lava cake too~


17 November, Sunday
i shall start off with the negative stuff: as usual, yaxun (a secondary school best friend) forgot to wish me. until now. and i was pretty upset with the business committee for not personally wishing me. only like 2 of them wished me on facebook and surprisingly, only one of them (who i wasn't that close to) actually sent me a personal text. what to do, these superficial things, i can't expect much from these things

met up with minzter at botanic gardens after my tuition. took us almost half an hour to reach the restaurant! (a few weeks before, she asked when i'd be free. hahaha i actually wanted to spend my birthday at home but since she asked, i decided to go out with her. i didn't even want my family to celebrate with me on the actual day. so she felt stressed because she had nothing planned and i was like meh i only want to have food.

lol i was quite unwilling because the initial spot had better lighting when i take pictures of the food later on. so when we were ordering, this crazy girl wanted three main courses and i was like:

me: omg can you finish?!!!

me: but what if it's really big!
minz: can takeaway!!
me: (i didn't want to carry a doggy bag so i continued to convince her not to get three main courses) are you sure...
minz: yeah! i'm very hungry! i can finish!

so i gave in lulz. we ordered a breakfast platter and two pizzas ikr omg. she gave me my present hehehehehehehe so sweet n______n food came, the usual me taking pictures of the food then i heard some birthday song coming from behind and ignored it because i wanted to take my pictures! then it got louder by the second so i turned around and saw GENEVIEVE K?!!!!!?!1 HOLDING A STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE?!!11/1 AND FLOWERS?! AND A BALLOON?!!!!1

sian i cried cause i didn't expect my two bestest friends to be present on my actual birthday :( i really really really didn't expect it. and strawb shortcake is my fav cake ever hehehe so win x 2

AND I WAS LIKE "OMG NO WONDER YOU MADE ME SIT HERE. AND NO WONDER YOU ORDERED THREE MAIN COURSES!!!)

eeeep i'm such a lucky girl to have such friends. so much love. idk why but i was hoping to get a balloon this year and no one gave to me yet so i was going to get one for myself (sad but no choice) so anyway, chilled then went to Bugis + for karaoke session hehehe i had so much fun~~~~~~~~~ yay \^^/

yup i saw him and he actually wished me the day before and we had a short chat. but when i saw him there, i couldn't bear to look him in the eye. i really couldn't. i could feel him looking my way, for an unusually long time. but i couldn't bear to face someone who hurt me so much.

i get flashbacks when i think of him: "why do you always complain" "i don't want to download skype" him picking on my flaws, everything. fuck

woke up four hours later for Food Hunts' event. joyce and i were assigned to percy's station yay hehe it was quite fun hanging out with them. our's was some thai restaurant so we had phad thai and green curry all day long.

cancelled my tuition because i was really tired from the event the day before. met up with chewz and minzter for high tea at The Regent! heard it was one of the best places for high tea. i really liked the spread but the other two felt that it was too little. if there were more, i wouldn't have been able to try everything. coming from a macron lover who didn't finish her macarons!

studied and I ALR HAD SO MANY ASSIGNMENTS that it was damn damn damn hard for me to leave the house to meet limin and the rest.

but i did. and it was at chomp chomp. i hate the food at chomp chomp. don't say that i "don't know how to order" or anything like that because my friends who frequently visit that place are always the ones ordering. how can they actually allow for such food to be in their system i don't get it.

when i wanted to leave, they made me stay for almost an hour for someone just to take a picture for us. because they weren't contented with the picture that i got someone to take for us ugh guys please

i took a bus which made a whole round around serangoon and i was brought back to the original bus stop. almost broke down because i had so many things to do. then papa couldn't fetch me but he said he'd pay for my cab fare yay i love darth vader.

after school, i had to go to bukit timah, some industrial building to meet a sponsor. then it rained. i had to go back to school. since i had to stop at Clementi to change bus, i decided to go for Starbucks' one for one promotion! studied until 7pm and had statistics' make up lesson until 10pm. I. ALMOST. DIED.

1) hirzi from munahandhirzi was there!!! omg i love him. and he gave a shout out to all the 'minahs' there and i cheered, which i regretted almost immediately because he caught me and said "EH YOU MINAH RIGHT" HAHAHA SHIT.

2) didn't drink at the bridge or anything. and no i still don't drink. i'm too used to following people to the bridge for drinking games. but i didn't that night and it felt weird. we just sat by the bar watching the guys drink and did some dares.

3) it was pretty um hmm let's just say first sheryl went off then wendy then bryce then ryan. so it was just me, edward, shiqi and marcus (drafts)

two lessons of driving then met up with clarice and tiffany in town. they're my past roommates when i was having my internship in maldives and clarice is brazilian!

walked around, had a free singapore cruise thanks to tiffanys' brother and it was pretty cool hehe then we cabbed to killiney road for sushi buffet at Senki!!! walked more, then rested at smoothie king until it was almost midnight.

7 December, Saturday

my committees' biggest event and during lunch, they asked me about the german guy. i. was. so. pissed. off. because there was supposed to be a circle of trust where anything that happened in the club stays in the club. what. bullshit.

suddenly everyone who ditched us, everyone who didn't go, knows about it. can't trust them. the worst part was that everyone was judging me like i had coitus with that guy or something. oh please. so pissed off

they even asked me during dinner!!?! ugh anyway had dinner at Fat Boys, Upper Thomson then we went to some nearby pub. played pool with wendy and it took almost half an hour for one game. maybe because some uncle there kept trying to teach us and we were too stressed out to play hahaha

left for bugis to catch a horror movie with the parents. and i was shocked that the father didn't drive there and he said "eh why you guys think i can't take public transport is it. i like taking public transport." hahaha yeah right, he's such a snob hehe

NO WONDER I LOOK LIKE I GOT FATTER. I gained almost 4kg since my lowest weight count. i've been under pressure from many things. i still do think about him, like i can't bear to be in another relationship where i'm going to get hurt eventually. studies as usual. i feel that the committee has many superficial people that i can't find a proper friend yet. everything sucks ok.
